Workshop Policies

 


Registration & Payment

  • Advance registration is required for all workshops unless otherwise noted.
     
  • Full payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
     
  • Workshop sizes are limited to ensure a quality, hands-on experience and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
     
  • Registration is not complete until payment is received.
     

Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to the workshop date may receive a full refund or credit toward a future workshop.
     
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the workshop are non-refundable, as materials and staffing are committed in advance.
     
  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual with advance notice.
     
  • If we must cancel or reschedule a workshop due to weather, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
     

Weather Policy

  • Some workshops may take place outdoors or in open farm structures and will run rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe.
     
  • In the event of severe weather, registered participants will be notified by email or phone as early as possible with updated instructions or rescheduling information.
     

Arrival & Participation

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and orientation.
     
  • Late arrivals may miss important safety instructions and may not be able to fully participate.
     
  • Workshops begin promptly and may not be extended due to late arrival.
     

Safety & Liability

  • Participation in farm workshops involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, tools, equipment, animals, and environmental conditions.
     
  • By registering, participants assume all risks associated with workshop activities.
     
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by instructors and staff.
     
  • We reserve the right to remove any participant who acts in an unsafe or disruptive manner without refund.
     

Age Requirements

  • Age limits vary by workshop and will be listed in the workshop description.
     
  • Minors must be accompanied by a registered adult unless otherwise specified.
     
  • Some workshops may not be suitable for young children due to tools, animals, or physical requirements.
     

Clothing & Equipment

  • Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, including closed-toe shoes.
     
  • Some workshops may require specific gear, tools, or supplies; these requirements will be listed in the workshop description.
     
  • We are not responsible for damage to personal items brought onto the farm.
     

Animals

  • For the safety of participants and livestock, personal pets are not permitted during workshops unless explicitly stated (e.g., service animals).
     

Accessibility

  • We strive to make our workshops as accessible as possible. However, due to the nature of a working farm, some areas may be uneven or difficult to navigate.
     
  • If you have accessibility concerns, please contact us prior to registering so we can discuss accommodations.
     

Photography & Media

  • Workshops may be photographed or recorded for educational or promotional purposes.
     
  • By attending, you grant permission for your likeness to be used in farm marketing materials, unless you notify us in writing prior to the workshop.
